Welcome
Our Group’s research focus is on present and future energy storage technologies that are crucial for clean energy landscape as they would store intermittent electricity generated from renewable energy sources (solar, wind) and would potentially power electric vehicles thus reducing pollution and global warming. Key Research focus areas are:- (i) Enhance the performance of existing energy storage devices such as lithium ion batteries and supercapacitors with the help of multifunctional nanoscale materials, (ii) To develop next generation energy storage technologies including lithium-air, fluoride and redox flow batteries and (iii) Nano electrode inks and new architectures to produce printable, flexible, lightweight batteries and supercapacitors that have interesting form factors that can potentially power printed electronics.
